Huri Anatolian Shepherd Dogs

I am Sally Endacott-Phillips based in Devon, U.K. I have owned Anatolian Shepherd Dogs since 1999. I have also been involved in the breed club ASDC of GB for many years, including serving as Chairman. I have bred two litters, including the Crufts BOS for 2005 Huri Hazine of Hisar. We do not have kennels, and our dogs live as part of the family - they are bred and raised indoors with other family pets and children. All Huri Anatolians are KC BVA Hip-Scored. Best Of Breed - Paignton 2006

Paignton Championship Show was held yesterday (12th July 2006). The judge for Anatolian Shepherd Dogs was Mr Vernon Miles of the Kurtkir kennel. Vernon has been involved in Anatolian's since the mid 80's, and has been an owner, breeder and exhibitor for all of this time.

The entry for Anatolians was good, 18 in total. There were a couple of absentee's on the day, but the dogs present were all excellently behaved and well presented for our judge, as well as being wonderful ambassadors for our breed.

Huri had good results on the day, with tricolour Tuzla Tulin of Huri coming 3rd in the Post Graduate Bitch class, and Huri Hazine of Hisar being awarded 1st place in the same class. Hazine then went on to take Best Bitch, and Best Of Breed.

A wonderful day, wonderful weather and wonderful results.
